Summer Baseball
-Registration Dates: April 8-26
-Fee: $90 per player (add $5 for non-resident)
-Included: Full uniform, at least 10 games and participation award at seasons end
-Age as of April 30, 2013
-Practices begin Mid-May
-Games begin early June and will be complete by the end of July
-5u & 6u will play 10 games w/no tournament
NOTE: Online registration is now closed. We are taking late signups in the parks offices located at the City Hall building. Once signed up, our staff will put your child on a waiting list and do our best to get he/she on a team.
Practice Schedule / May 16 - June 7
MEMORANDUM:
-Practices on DC-08 on May 21 (tonight) will be moved to V-1 on May 22 at the same times.
-Practice on DC-09 on May 21 (tonight) will be moved to V-2 on May 22 at the same times
-ALL SUMMER BASEBALL practices are canceled on Saturday, May 25th due to a large softball tournament at DC Park and a baseball tournament at VP. --Any team is welcome to utilize the backstops at Whitten Elementary on Saturday on a first come, first serve basis.
-Practice on DC-13 on May 31 will be moved to the following
--5:30-7:00 (Parks) will go to 7:00-8:30p on V-1
--7:00-8:30 (Simon) will to V-3 at the same time
-Practice on DC-11 on June 4th will be moved to DC-05 at the same times
-Practice on DC-13 on June 7th will be moved to V-1 at the same time

-8u & 10u Division will play 12 games w/season ending tournament
NOTE: The 12u division has not made in several years due to lack of numbers. Over the past couple of years, we have allowed some 11 & 12's to play down into the 9 & 10 year old league. Our staff addresses this on a year to year basis, so keep that in mind when signing up any 11 or 12 year olds.
